Fun Run

On behalf of Andee’s Army, we would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, participants, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, Mount Vernon Baptist Church, and the neighbors along the Fun Run route for their active involvement while the roads were closed. We would also like to thank the Sandy Springs Police Department for their excellent service, Kevin Graham with Exact Timing, for his outstanding coordination and direction for the race, as well as The Honorary Junior Registration Captains, Andee’s Cadets and the Sophmore Class at Holy Innocents’ for their hard work and dedication. We would like to recognize the Odom Family for donating the Six Flags tickets and the local businesses and organizations including VeenendaalCave Inc., EEP Events, Piece of Cake, The Northside Youth Organization (NYO), Atlanta Peach Movers for supplying the water bottles at the finish line and the Hawks’ tickets, Jerry Couvaras with The Atlanta Bread Company for donating muffins and bagels at the finish line and Graphics Central for their help with signage for the Fun Run. We had over 860 participants register for the event and the monies raised will provide financial assistance to children that are receiving medical treatment and care for acquired (non-traumatic) brain injuries.
