Andee’s Army Accomplishments

Since the formation of Andee’s Army, our dream of providing hope to families at a time of overwhelming need is becoming a reality. In our first year of operation, Andee’s Army assembled an Executive Board and Advisory Board of prominent business and community leaders in the Atlanta area to carry out our mission of assisting families with the financial hardships following a catastrophic brain injury.

Most importantly, the donations raised are a treasured safety net for families coping with and adapting to the associated, but uninsured expenses related to non-traumatic brain injury. Andee’s Army is working diligently with the region’s leading specialty hospitals and rehab centers for people with brain injury to identify families who are in most need of our resources.

Andee’s Army has multiple fundraisers year round and has established a community presence and engaged community support regarding the mission of Andee’s Army. The proceeds generated by these fundraisers assist families affected by non-traumatic brain injuries with transportation, lodging, day care, meals, and incidental expenses associated with long commutes and lengthy hospital stays. Andee’s Army has awarded over $50,000 in grants to help other families in 2012 and plans on awarding another $50,000 in grants for 2013.
